VEPR UGV to Receive Saber Combat Modules from ROBONEERS
Ukrainian companies Partner-VS and ROBONEERS have signed a memorandum of cooperation to integrate five variants of the Saber remote weapon stations onto the VEPR unmanned ground vehicle.
ROBONEERS told Militarnyi about the joint development.
The partnership aims to create a mobile combat platform for military units that can be adapted to specific front-line missions.
The modules under consideration for integration are the Saber 7.62 for the PKT machine gun, Saber M240 for the M240 machine gun, Saber K-2 with two AK-74 assault rifles, Saber M2 for the M2 Browning machine gun, and Saber Mk.19(M) for the Mk.19 automatic grenade launcher.
Saber RWS
ROBONEERS’ flagship Saber turret module has been actively used in combat since 2023.

Depending on the version, the weapon stations offer an effective firing range of 300 meters to 2.4 km and can operate autonomously in surveillance mode for up to 120 hours.
Operators can control the turrets remotely from up to 100 meters or via Wi-Fi using a control unit, and the system includes surveillance, targeting, and thermal imaging cameras.
ROBONEERS’ proprietary software provides the operator with a ballistic calculator, coordinate-based firing, target memorization, and digital zoom.
VEPR UGV
The VEPR unmanned ground vehicle, developed by Partner-VS, has been used on the front line since 2024 for logistics, remote mine clearance, and casualty evacuation.

The platform weighs around 400 kg, can carry up to 250 kg of cargo, reach speeds of over 12 km/h, and has a range of more than 50 km.
The UGV is equipped with two 1,500 W electric motors and six communication types, including LTE and Starlink.
Earlier, German company ARX Robotics and Ukrainian company ROBONEERS entered into a strategic partnership to jointly develop and integrate unmanned ground systems.
