On July 9, 14 Russian Vessels Were Destroyed in the Sea of Azov

On the night of July 9, the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed 14 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov.

The Unmanned Systems Forces reported this.

According to the military, over the past 96 hours, 35 tankers, dry cargo ships, and special vessels—all part of Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet”—were struck.

Specifically, on the night of July 9, 12 tankers, one dry cargo ship, and one tugboat were hit.

Among the vessels struck were the tankers “Chelsea-6,” “Aura,” “Sonar-1,” “Ilya Repin,” “Galiaskhar Kamal,” “Venera-3,” “Penelope,” the vessel “Mercury,” and the tugboat “Alfeo” with the barge “Aphrodite.” Information regarding five additional vessels is being verified.

The Unmanned Systems Forces noted that all identified tankers belong to Russia’s “shadow fleet” and are subject to international sanctions.
