The announcement was made on July 23 on the website of the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
The combined value of the two packages is estimated at approximately $322 million.
Specifically, the HAWK Phase III system, along with its maintenance, associated equipment, and training, could cost up to $172 million.
This package includes the delivery to Ukraine of:
- Trucks and spare parts for the HAWK system;
- Repair and overhaul of launchers and tool kits;
- Support equipment;
- Technical documentation and personnel training;
- Spare parts for MIM-23 HAWK missiles and their repair;
- Other related logistics and program support elements.
The potential sale of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, along with their maintenance, repair, overhaul, and associated equipment, is estimated at approximately $150 million.
