Drone from the 210th Assault Regiment Destroys Russian 2S1 Gvozdika
A drone from the 210th Separate Assault Regiment destroyed a Russian 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer on the Zaporizhzhia sector.
The unit’s official Telegram page reported this.
The strike was performed using an FPV drone. After spotting the camouflaged artillery position, the operator targeted and hit the Russian equipment.
Based on the published footage, the target was a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer. This is evident in the low-profile turret, which lacks a prominent recoil mechanism above the gun barrel. These design features clearly identify the equipment as a Gvozdika.
It is worth noting that the losses of Russian self-propelled artillery systems on the battlefield are significant. The number of destroyed and captured 2S1 Gvozdika howitzers exceeds 174 units. However, this figure is not the highest among the invaders’ artillery losses.
Even greater losses have been sustained by the 2S3 Akatsiya howitzers, with a total of 191 units destroyed or captured. The heaviest losses have been recorded among the 2S19 Msta-S howitzers – the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed or captured 256 of these systems.

Militarnyi previously reported that the special forces unit Lasar’s Group destroyed a Russian heavy flamethrower system, the TOS-1A Solntsepek.
