225th Separate Assault Regiment Liberates Village of Kindrativka in Sumy Region
The soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment liberated the village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region, about 2.5 kilometers from the border with Russia.

According to DeepState’s sources, the 225th Separate Assault Regiment has completed clearing and consolidating in Kindrativka. It is noted that during the operation, Ukrainian units had inflicted significant losses on the enemy.
In particular, a battalion of the 40th separate motorized rifle regiment, a battalion of the notorious 155th separate marine brigade and a battalion of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade were defeated. The commander of the battalion of the 30th motorized rifle brigade was also eliminated.
The elimination of the commander, Major Andrey Yartsev, took place near the neighboring village of Andriivka in mid-June.
The operation involved a group of the 1st Assault Battalion “Black Swan”, which, in the course of a combat mission, reached the Russian command post. During the assault, the enemy commander was killed.
According to DeepState, the Russian infantry was surrounded in Kindrativka for some time before being cleared out.
“The enemy infantry was still surrounded in the village for a long time, so we had to wait for it to smoke out,” they said.
This is the second village liberated by the unit in the Sumy region. Before that, in June, the 225th Battalion liberated the village of Andriivka, about 5 kilometers from the border with Russia.
The liberation of Andriivka was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his evening address on June 14.

It is known that at that time fighting had also been taking place in Kindrativka. On June 13, Deputy Chairman of the Sumy District Council Volodymyr Bitsak said that half of the village of Kindrativka had already been under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
