Destruction of Russian Zemledeliye Remote Minelaying System Near Horlivka

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed a Russian Zemledeliye remote minelaying system near occupied Horlivka.

The report comes from the War in Ukraine. Equipment Losses Telegram channel.

The channel’s authors released a video recorded on a stretch of highway in the temporarily occupied territory.

In the footage, a completely destroyed vehicle can be seen, the result of a powerful explosion.

Most likely, the Russian Zemledeliye system was hit while moving toward the front line with a full load of specialized rocket projectiles designed for remote minelaying.

The detonation of these projectiles after the strike led to the destruction of the system deep in the rear of the Russian forces. When the video was recorded is unknown.

According to the Telegram channel, the Zemledeliye system was destroyed near the settlement of Panteleimonivka in the Donetsk region. It is unknown what weapon the Ukrainian defenders used to execute the strike.

Zemledeliye

The Zemledeliye system is designed for the rapid deployment of minefields in especially critical areas at distances ranging from 5 to 15 km. It launches rocket projectiles that disperse mines across a designated area.

The combat vehicle of the system is built on an eight‑wheel armored KamAZ chassis and is equipped with two pods, each containing 25 rockets.

Ukrainian defenders have experience destroying such systems, including with bomber drones and American HIMARS in various sectors of the front line.
