Responsibilities

Circuit design: developing schematics for printed circuit boards (PCBs) while considering performance, power consumption, and compactness requirements.

Design and assembly: assembling prototypes of electronic devices, including radio communication equipment, and debugging hardware components and products.

Testing and verification: conducting functional testing of products, analysing results and making necessary adjustments to ensure system reliability.

Development of technical documentation for hardware, including specifications, user manuals, and test protocols.

Hardware optimisation: analysing component performance, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.

Production support: interacting with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure the quality of mass production.

Software integration: Collaboration with the software development team to ensure the proper functioning of all system components.

Required skills:

  • High-level soldering skills, including SMD components.
  • Experience in circuit design and PCB development (Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar tools).
  • Knowledge of digital and analog electronics fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Experience working with sensors (cameras, gyroscopes, accelerometers).
  • Understanding of embedded systems.
  • Technical documentation writing skills.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and working with 3D printers.
  • Hands-on experience with single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson).
  • Familiarity with ArduPilot, ArduPilot Mission Planner, MAVLink protocol, QGroundControl, Mavlink, RFD Tools, and Radio Telemetry.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Circuit Design, Robotics, or a related field.
